Foundation
Foundation Year Program
The Foundation Year program is available to students coming from any Curriculum who are currently in Grade 12 (American or International Baccalaureate or CBSE) or Year 13 (British Curriculum). Students can convert their credits from any Board with 8 credits from TVO-ILC IVS Online School.
Breakdown
- Assessment for Placement (PLAR)
- *8 Full Credit Courses
- 3 Personalized Guidance Sessions, 45 minutes per session
University Application Support
- Submission 1 – **includes cover letter, transcript, confirmation of enrolment
- Submission 2 – **includes cover letter, mid-term report, transcript
- Submission 3 – **includes cover letter, final transcript
Foundation Assessment
Final verification of Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) requirements
- Successful completion of OSSLT or Ontario Literacy Course
- 8 compulsory credits required
*As determined by PLAR, if a student needs to take extra courses, a per course fee will apply.
*At the time of registration for placement and course selection, every international student’s prior learning would be assessed and recognized. This formal process is called Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR).
